While it has taken me quite a while to finally write, I have to thank you for the amazing experience and wonderful day trip you allowed us during our visit to Iceland.  It's been 8 months since we were there and we still rave about our last day in the country -- which was our day with you.  We tell famiyl and friends always how not only did the day trip with you make our trip, it was a once in a lifetime experience we are so thanful to have had.  I recommened Husky Travel to anyone visiting Iceland!  It truly is a must.  Even my fiancee who was quite hesitant after I informed him I had booked this trip and the higher cost of it, admits it brought our trip from a "good vacation" to an incredible visit we will never forget -- worth every penny plus more!  Thanks again and hope all is well!

Hi Jon, We had a fantastic time on our Dogsledding and the southern shore tour with you (and of course the dogs and the horses at the end!) I have to say that going to Iceland was one of our best holidays ever and we can't wait to go back. I'm not just saying it, but it wasn't just the country that we loved but the people as well. We have also been on many tours in different countries but your tour has to rank up there with the very best - I can't imagine a day gets much better than that day did. It wasn't just the the country and sites but the personal touches that made our day so special. Thanks Jon for showing Barry & I the BEST tour whilst in Iceland, you were so informative about Iceland & everything we saw or done.. Thank you for an absolutely amazing trip! Not only did we get to enjoy dog sledding over the black sand beaches but walking over a glaciers, visiting numerous waterfalls and petting some Icelandic Horses. We had a fantastic time laughing our way around the south coast and seeing all that it had to offer. Jon, you're a great tour guide and provided us with one of the most memorable experiences we had during our week in Iceland. Thank you very much, you helped exceed my expectations for a trip to Iceland, and this is one of the best tours I have ever been on anywhere in the world!

The service Jon provides is first class - the way all tours should be. We were so impressed we booked up twice and we got to see the northern lights twice!  

Jon likes to push the boundaries in his Super Jeep and we both loved it - up and down insanely steep hills, through icy rivers and across frozen lakes!  The first time I got into the jeep I was having so much fun that I forgot we were actually looking for the northern lights!  

Husky Travel is the only tour operator that takes small groups of people out just to look for the northern lights.  Other operators take you for an expensive lobster meal or tie it in with other activities which obviously boost the price.  The only other option you have to saw off your legs and go to sleep on a bus with 80 other people...

Keep up the good work Jon and hopefully we'll be back in February.

We had an amazing time in Iceland and that's largely because of you. After the N. lights and caving with you we immediately canceled a big bus tour to do the S. Coast with yo...and what an adventure that was. Thank you for sharing your stories and your local restaurants. You gave us a real taste of iceland that we would have never seen from the bus.

We'll let you know when we're ready to experience the north coast. Give the dogs lots of loving from us.

OK - where do I start?  This was far and away the best day of my trip to Iceland and I would say one not to miss.  We saw waterfalls, lava fields, black beaches and caves.  We did a bit off off-roading on the bumpier terrain and in the river.  We walked on a ice and best of all - I snowmobiled on a glacier - it was a real thrill! 

The landscapes were beautiful - something different every half an hour and the fact that there were only 5 of us on the tour meant that we could dictate what was important to us.  Jon was a great guide - informative and informal and full of stories about a country that he obviously knows and loves.

This one for me was a 10/10!!!   Takk fyrir Jon.  (hope that's right)

Thanks for a fantastic day, had a great time dog sledding and seeing the sights of the Southern shore. Particularly enjoyed the off roading ( sorry about the squealing from the back seat) and hearing your troll stories and other insights on Iceland. Im going to have to come back to do the snow-mobiling, Sue wont stop going on about it!

Anyone wondering who to book a tour with should definately go with husky travel, you will have a great time, I will be recommending you to everyone I know.

We had an amazing day with you on the Southern Island tour and fell in love with the dogs! (Hope you manage to adopt the shy one!). It was the highlight of our trip. We keep looking at the photos we took and wish we were back in iceland!

back to germany i am still amazed and bewitched from our "4 night stand" in reykjavik. it was a really great time and the super-jeep-tour with you was the highlight !

now we have to save a lot of money again to return with the whole family ...

our son mario (9 years old) was very impressed about the stones and the photos i brought with. he wondered about all this big cars and jeeps he never see in our country (and who never stuck here...).

now at school he has to make a study about christmas celebrations all over the world. of course he chose iceland ! but we don`t know anything about it.

could you be so kind to tell us something about the cristmas time in your country ? are there any traditionel habitudes to celebrate christmas ?

Absolutely fantastic tour. Really enjoyed the sights, walking on the glacier and your insights on Iceland. And of course, the partying afterwards :)

Best sightseeing tour i've been on.  There's no better way to see Iceland than in an offroad monster truck.  I'll be sure to recommend this tour to anyone planning on traveling to Iceland.

Thank you for a truly fascinating day in Iceland. We didn't of course see it all, but we did see a very great deal, from the Geyser to Thingvellier, lakes, countryside and wildlife, to dams and lakes and ancient dwellings with not quite so ancient churches.

Husy Travel is THE BEST!!! Way above and beyond excellent personalized service. It was supposed to be a 9 hr tour, and we were gone 12. Every sight was more breathtaking than the last. I have seriously run out of adjectives. All I was saying all day was: "WOW!" I would give this tour a 13/10. This was beyond perfect. Every time we thought we saw the best thing ever, Jon the Tour Guide would say, in that ever so sexy and direct black-humour way that Icelanders have of speaking--"We're not done YET." He answered every question we had--and anticipated every need we had, and brought us to the most magical places in Iceland... 

Having experienced almost every other tour Iceland has to offer, I can still stay that Husky Travel is the best. Small groups, customized tours, personalized service, excellent conversation, stunningly beautiful off-the-beaten-path sights, and MANY surprises made this tour the icing on the incredibly heavenly cake that Iceland is.
